Changelog

Every build, dated.

Builds, dates, and what changed — every value on this page is true or absent.

Current — build 21 · 2026-07-16 Public release — v1.0.0 planned

Public releases begin at v1.0.0.

QERYX iOS is in closed beta today. The entries below are the real beta build history, dated from the repository — no invented versions, no backfilled polish. From v1.0.0, every release ships a signed manifest: SHA-256 per artifact, ML-DSA-87 over the manifest, anchored in the KTS transparency log. The verification workflow checks all three.

Planned — v1.0.0

The first public release. It ships when the launch gate closes; the signed manifest published on release day is authoritative. No date renders here until it is real.

Walk the beta history, build by build.

  1. Build 21

    Current
    • Group voice and video sender-key distributions are signed with the identity key (ML-DSA-87).
    • Group video tiers scale with the roster; a key-convergence watchdog holds the call together.
    • Q-GroupCipher membership convergence completed: signed-commit verified apply and leaf authority in crypto-core.
    • Owner role, per-admin rights matrix, and ban list govern groups end-to-end.
    • Mentions ring end-to-end; reply quotes persist across restarts.
    • Voice: skipped keys stage until the packet authenticates; the call top bar is bounded so end-zone buttons never clip.
  2. Build 20

    • Qaduceus turn engine rebuilt on an immutable-turn model.
    • QSeal master-password generation rebuilt as a living ceremony; Shadow connect states made honest.
    • Video calls ramp to 1080p faster; phantom voice sessions are cleared.
    • Settings and entanglement pages solidified against drag gestures.
  3. Build 19

    • Photos send at the fidelity tier you choose; the in-app camera captures at full sensor resolution.
    • Disappearing media destroys its cached plaintext on expiry.
    • The 60-second resource cap is lifted off recipient video downloads.
    • Notifications: one message shows one banner; phantom banners on empty fetches are gone.
    • A fresh install purges any surviving keychain identity.
  4. Builds 17–18

    • Call top-bar corner clearance widened to keep controls clear of the notch.
    • QSeal creation layout de-cramped; entropy number generation smoothed.
    • Shielded chat bubbles contract when you shrink text size.
    • A lapsed key bundle is distinguished from an unregistered peer.
  5. Build 16

    • crypto-core static library rebuilt and pinned across every extension target.
    • Channel membership tiers with per-tier key gating.
    • ML-DSA-87 sign/verify context symbols anchored against release dead-stripping.
  6. Build 2

    • First closed-beta distribution cycle.
    • The Entangled rename completed across the app.

Builds 3–15 were internal device cycles and are not enumerated; security-relevant fixes from that window fold into the builds above.

When a build addresses a security issue, its entry says so plainly. QERYX ships across independent distribution paths, so a security update is never gated on a single store's review queue.
